4. Once you get to this selection, a third menu will pop up with database options. You will want to choose the first option on this menu, labeled �Business Organizations Data�.

5. You will then be taken to a search form and prompted to insert all or part of the name of the company that you want to search for.

6. Pressing �Search� will give you a list of all the companies registered in West Virginia that most closely match your search term, sorted by relevancy. This list will include each company�s name, their type, the effective date, the termination date (if any), the termination reason (if any), their charter, and their class.

7. To find out more information on a particular company on the list, click on the company�s name.

8. This will take you to the company�s details page which lists the company�s name, their company type, their section type, the effective date, the date they filed, their chapter type, their class, the termination date (if any), the termination reason (if any), their chapter county, their chapter state, their business purpose, their control number, the term, the term years, their management, the authorized shares, and other stock information.

9. In addition, you will find links to view company addresses, company officers, any DBA names they may go by, other legal names, any mergers, any subsidiaries, any amendments, any annual reports, and any dissolutions.
